These terms apply to your use of LovePDFEditor at lovepdfeditor.com. By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
LovePDFEditor provides free, browser-based tools for working with PDF files, including editing, signing, merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, watermarking and redacting. Files are processed on your own device; we do not receive or store them. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
Your files and content
- You keep all rights to the documents you open and to anything you add to them. We claim no ownership of your content.
- You are responsible for making sure you have the right to edit, sign, combine or share the documents you use with the service.
- Keep a copy of your original file. We recommend checking every exported PDF before you rely on it or send it to anyone.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use LovePDFEditor to:
- forge signatures, alter documents to deceive anyone, or commit fraud;
- create or share content that is illegal or infringes someone else's rights;
- interfere with the website, attempt to disrupt it, or access it in an automated way that places an unreasonable load on it.
Signatures and redaction
The Sign PDF tool places an image of your signature on a page. It is not a certificate-based digital signature, and whether it is accepted for a particular document depends on the law where you are and on what the recipient requires.
The Redact PDF tool covers content with a solid box. The text underneath is not deleted from the file and may be recoverable. Do not rely on it where information must be permanently removed.
No warranty
The service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LovePDFEditor and its operators are not liable for any loss of data, loss of business, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or from your inability to use it.
Third-party services
The website uses third-party services such as Google Analytics and Google Fonts, which have their own terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
